02:58 am - New year, new me
2009 thus far has been a great year. I managed to get my GED, start college, and lose weight. Hell I'm even officially in remission. It's taken alot to get here, and I know that I still have alot of challenges ahead of me, but for once in my life I feel like I'm in control, like I can overcome anything else life has to throw at me.
I think alot of my success I owe to my daughter, without her I never would have learned to slow down and take a breather. When your a mom you don't have time to sweat about the little stuff, and you learn that everything is possible if you want to make it through the day.
